How much have you done, O, my sage^1,

All for the good of all the ages!

Your offspring lives still on this land;

Your house and temple still there stand.

The phoenix^{2 deplored3 your sad state;}

The unicorn^{4 foretold5 your fate.}

We offer sacrifice to you,

For once you dreamed it was your due.
